The Aviary is an illustrated book design project about birds and avian creatures from mythology, folklore, and superstition. This project combines my love of visual history and storytelling with a unique focus on bird imagery. Each featured story is told through a primary portrait illustration, intricate spot illustrations, and detailed research-based descriptions. The book package is brought together with a cover design, endpapers, and a table of contents.
